Thread is a leading Cape Town-based production company, specialising in brand-focussed concept creation, content strategy, online programming, live internet broadcasts and video production. By linking “threads of content” through these various channels, they ensure that clients’ brand content reaches their target audiences at the right time and in the correct manner. We wanted to reflect this approach visually in the identity. This was achieved by using the negative space to very subtly indicate a thin line running through the logotype, and by linking the characters of the word. A stark black and white combination, with very strategically placed blue ( highlighting the url ) was used throughout the design of the business card, letterhead and email signature.
