Project Summary

Our friends from Capoeira Angola Hamburg-Sued, hosted their first ‘Roda’ (Portuguese for ‘wheel’) after about a 6 month break from regular training events. As a highlight event in the training calendar, the Roda involves a group of capoeira practitioners coming together to playfully showcase their physical and musical abilities. To promote the event we made a fun 3d typographic video, using colours and textures insired from the physical training spacee, and more importantly using a fluid spline animation style that is a nod to the fluidity of capoeira‘s physical expression. The music which was produced by Carlo Thompson compliments the overall feel.
